See? Just as he would have predicted. Knowledgeable horsemen with an honest approach to selling their stock. More horsemen ought to conduct business like this. Depending on how the mare turned out -and he expected only the best- he would have to keep an eye out for these men here if ever they brought more stock through. It did well to remember pleasant exchanges and to keep those sellers in mind for future purchases. Listening to the man with eyes on the mare, he nodded and cast a glance to the stallion in the second pen. Hmm, an unusual pairing, should produce an interesting foal... Considering the stallion he had in mind as a possible future pairing for this mare was an Andalusian x Friesian -and he was still undecided whether or not he would be willing to breed anything mixed in his barn- the coming foal could be an indication to how well the mare cross-bred... Four months. That gave him time to prepare the place for a newborn. Excellent. Remaining silent a moment as the seller ended his speech, he looked the mare over closely, nodding in consideration. A nice animal for an excellent price. And papered too! "She'll be perfect. No health problems? Any special needs? Medications of any sort?"
