x. .The rain falls heavily the night a pretty bay filly is tied to a fence by a gravel road. She was delicately built, with a prettily shaped head, but she looked a bit neglected, thin and badly brushed. She whickers as the truck that had carried her here drives off, splashing her with a torrent of muddy water. Confused, she tugs at the lead line holding her in place, whickering for the truck to come back. After a few hours, she begins to quiet down, sopping wet and holding her head low, waiting for someone to find her. .x
