*putting on party thinkin' cap*

You ask a perplexing question...

You see, not to much goes with potato soup. Sure, lots goes with potato, but with soup? I dunno, I suggest beef skewers or maybe that baby corn salad. Its a delicate balance with potatos. Not to be overshadowed with heavier fair, you want to keep it light because potato is so starchy, and to serve other starches, like pasta, with it, is tricky. Chicken; yes
Chicken wings?; no.

What kind of wine should be served with potatoes? No..no, wine...just whiskey. And when you serve it you gotta yell out "HAAAAAAAAAARD" like they do in curling rinks.

hope that helps!
