I found this the other day in TV Gal's column at Zap2It.com. The column was dated September 8.

Poor Drew Carey, his ABC series is ending its nine season run with no attention or fanfare this Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. Let's hope The WB treats him better.

I have read her column off and on for quite a while and I believe this is the first time that I ever ran across something nice about either DCS or WL. (There was one time in the section about "those I have seen before" [or something like that], it was when Chip appeared in the NYPD Blue episode last season, she also included WL as to where he was seen before.)
