Is the fact that of all of them, Brad is the only one who has had some of this fame while he was single, as far as I can tell. All of the others all were married/engaged/etc. while he wasn't.

So in the past, he would have had more leeway with how he behaved - even in little ways - whereas the others already were being considerate of their relationships & their lines due to their loved ones were drawn further back.

And now, Brad would be in the situation where he wants to make a point of the fact that he is commited, and therefore would be throwing himself even further back past that line to make the point extra clear. So now even some of the more hands on - even in a just being friendly way - he's avoiding.
