Like I did mention (somewhere), there is the real possibility that this could have several solutions and you guys just proved it.

Both of you are on target; my original series of links was closer to pat's.

I went the following Six Degrees route:

Greg Proops was in "Midnight Caller" (Old Friends)
with Gary Cole.

Gary Cole was in a TV movie "Vital Signs" with Ed
Asner.

Ed Asner was in "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" with
Mary Tyler Moore.

Mary Tyler Moore (Laura Petrie) in "The Dick
Van Dyke Show" with Richard Deacon (Mel Cooley).

Richard Deacon (Fred Rutherford) was in "Leave It
to Beaver" with Jerry Mathers (...as The Beaver.)

I ended up using a Gary Cole fan page to get the Ed Asner link and everything else fell into place because thanks to Cookie, I have a copy of Greg's part in the MC show and it seemed like a good jumping off point.

This was a little different and for me kind of fun...is it worth continuing so we can at least do one series for each of the WL folks?

I'm flexible - let me know or jump in with one of your own.

I was thinking of using Gary instead of Mykelti, but I couldn't think of anything straight off that he had done with AsnerCookie15:22:04 06/26/01 Tue
What if without knowing "the answer," one of us just picks a pair of TV stars that need linking? (NT)pat15:34:50 06/26/01 Tue
