Greg was on "3rd Rock From the Sun" with Jane Curtin.

Jane Curtin was on "Saturday Live" with Eddie Murphy (either their seasons overlapped (Jane 1975-1980) Eddie (1980-1984) or they were in some of the specials periodically broadcast.)

Eddie Murphy was in "Bowfinger" with Steve Martin.

Steve Martin was in "The Jerk" with Rob Reiner.

Rob Reiner was in "All in the Family" with Sherman Hemsley.

You can also to this by tv only if you Saturday Night Live is used as a source for several people. There is a five step one that links Greg and Sherman using that type of set up and adding Billy Crystal into the mix. (Greg, Jane,Billy,Rob and Sherman)Billy Crystal had a guest appearance on All in the Family as Meathead's best friend.
