To Maragold''

I say missis, I don't remember me making any chips, no never in me life. I could buy one of them deep fat fryers from Ebay I suppose and give it a go.

As for me being interested in woman's unmentionables, knickers like, well--- I as a bit of a tickle stomach, no offence missis but it don't appeal to me messing around with them draws, can't go with the wife to Marks and Sparks underwear without being embarrassed, goes to the food hall. As for wanting to bother with them garments that have been where I don't want to go. No way!.

As for being bored, not likely lady, don't take life so serious, it's them that want to look back and revive the past, them rocket scientist and them that think they know it and don't, that get bored, the daft thing is, they don't know it.

True it's only my own opinion, ain't no better or wus than any one elses.

Take one of me nieghbours, he started to build himself a summer house, made his own plans, really impressed the nieghbours with his pearling and rafters, mullions and casements and much more. I had started building a bird house and didn't the neighbours laugh, bit of old planking and a few nails finished within the week. Two years have gone by, neighbours still building his summer house, fed up with it bored.

Well the neighbours still mention me bird table and still laugh at it, never mention me neighbours summer house, don't like to remind him.

My next door neighbour tells me he saw a couple of wrens on it the other day, an adult and a young un, don't see them so often now. Nothing boring about that now is there missis.

Lighten up a bit or you'll end up walking that green alone and wandering where the folk have gone.

By the way I think I may have met that Rosilea McLain in another village. Or some one like her.
