Centaur Clearing
You step into a large, open field. Many other centaurs are there, talking quietly. The wind is blowing a bit, and the sun is out. This is a place for all centaurs to come to talk and introduce themselves. Other animals are also welcome here. There is a ledge of rock over there to take shelter under, and a place to build a fire as well.

Trots in... -- Nimroch, 14:20:38 07/01/02 Mon
Nim slows to a walk as she enters the clearing. She trots up onto a ledge of rock jutting out of the earth and folds her legs so she can lie down. From her resting spot Nim can see all the going-ons of the clearing. She lazily flicks her tail from side to side as she watches curiously.

~hooves thud heavily against the terra in unspoken and lifeless grace used only to carry the stud into these new lands.~
~hollow sapphires pierce the surroundings seeing everything in mutted and blurred tones:curse fault eyes:his thoughts ehcoed within his tow headed skull.~
~nothing and everything amazed him as he passed other's of his species, bright cream hued coat standing out in the moonlight.~
~his posture said stay back, eyes spoke a different story of a lost little colt trapped within a big stallion's body.~
~when he reached the edge of a lake he halted and shifted his gaze to the sky hearing the calls of owls on their twilight prowl.~

Pushing the grabbing fingers of young trees away he stumbles into the clearing. -- Dehvit, 11:24:56 05/13/02 Mon
Immediately noting the difference, the openess of it all he retreated backward, falling into the branches with a light crash.
Harsh brown eyes looked about in frightened curiousity, burrowing back in his little cove of tangled foliage. He kept his mouth closed tight, with no word or sound able to escape, but the thoughts in his head screamed for those of his species, for his mother, for everything he had been longing for in the past months. He folded his legs 'neath him and rested his head against a cluster of moss then slowly and reluctantly dropped off to sleep.

~a young child trots in on cloven hooves...raven black hair falls down across her back, framing her ghastly pale face...large dark eyes stare out, two ink splotches, at the others...the horse hair and tail are the same abyss like black as her hair.~

Tossing her pack to the grond she sunk to lay by the water exhausted. Yawning and pushing away wisps of stray hair she cups her hands together and brings water to dry lips, satisfying her thirst.

**the pale skinned male canters in lightly, his short neat hair silver, and lean, smooth horse half grey, fleck of white. Violet eyes glance around.**

**the younger, more colourful femme gallops in, smiling. She's of a medium build, her skin tanned lightly, and the mousey brown hair is tied up off her back and shoulders. Her silky brown horse half glistens in the sun, dark brown tail flicking.**

Soft hoofbeats shower the muddied earth. -- Danitalia (Lullabye), 16:23:18 04/03/02 Wed
Ebon centauress halted at the edge of the stream, cool water dashing over hooved in frenzied rush toward sea. Calm eyes watched its path momentarily before slipping beneath the cool shade of her willow and grabbing her pack. Spring meant new roots. It would be easier to dry them now than to wait until they were tough with the heat of summer or autumn, though they would not be as large now.
