Morning calls for pain relief, the line above the step beneath the worst that you could do.. and the best that you could hope for is hardly the best..


Classes had yet to start and so he was just wasting his time- it had been difficult to arrive this close to Christmas and not know anyone on this side of the globe, and he had spent Christmas Day on the phone with his sister and his mother - that was just how it worked, then he'd gone to a local restaurant, the only one open on the holiday and had himself a chicken meal, which he supposed counted as your traditional "Christmas Dinner" - though it hadn't felt like Christmas at all this year. One thing was for sure, this weather was warmer than he was accustomed to, coming from north of the border - this time of year would have brought out parkas in Toronto, but he was only wearing a fleece zip up as he made his way into the lodge, pulling his gray messenger bag off of his shoulder, he set it within the door, disrobing and heading for the nearest couch to crash - he supposed he spent time around here to find someone to occupy his time, conversation and all that good stuff.
