Subject: she smirked lightly at his statement about the weather...folding easily into the spot he'd patted for her...peering over his shoulder for a moment to glance at the artical...smirking gently Poor kid - all withdrawn from his waves...she herself hadn't surfed since she'd left home...busyed with finding an apartment and a job first before she'd even think about unloading her surfing stuff.

  • He twisted his mouth a bit, opening up the dog eared pages of the surfing magazine so she could get a look at the article that he was reading. "Yeah, well I know better than to push myself." He didn't push his body when it was like this - he'd learned a long time ago that if you ignored what your body was telling you then you paid for it for a long time rather than listening to the warning signs to begin with and taking the necessary action then to rid the body of the unwanted germs and beast gallavanting about inside. "I learned my lesson. Remember the flu of '99?" She'd just been a kid then - so had he really, but he'd been in the hospital dehydrated for about a week.
