Subject: She looked up to see the source of the falling closed of the door but wished that she hadn't. She wanted to duck and cover into a foxhole like someone on the wasteland of war but was instead frozen in place badly enough that the only thing she could do was turn her head and hope that he didn't see her. She was an unmistakable figure though - even despite having had a child, she still looked fantastic, and maintained her figure of youth. It was the baby herself that she worried about.

  • he had in fact seen her - but chose not to ignore it - but to leave it what it was. After what had happened things had just fallen apart and he was left on his own at a young age trying to figure out what in the hell he had done wrong. The baby though was what caught his eye - setting his jaw a moment while watching the child...nodding lightly to its mother though not raising his eyes to meet hers (NT) -- Talon, Sun, Nov 14 2004, 8:47pm PST
