Solid gold sunshine and a silver moon
She ain't too familiar with a plastic spoon

Well there's a light in your eye that keeps shining
Like a star that can't wait for the night
I hate to think I've been blinded baby
Why can't I see you tonight?
~Led Zeppelin

The sky was very ominous looking which only forced him to reconsider his decision in even coming up to the lodge. But his stomach grumbled silently and that was enough reassurance that he needed to make a stop. He took the stairs rather slowly to the lodge. He hadn't frequented it before and he wasn't sure what to expect. Though it wasn't as though he were going to be killed on sight. Sometimes he wondered where he came up with this stuff. He should focus his energies into some cheesy horror movie. The lodge of death. His mind often went on rampages as such. He was constantly brainstorming as it were. Upon entering the lodge, he saw nothing of the sort. In fact, he almost saw nothing. Well no one. With the exception of one girl, lingering in the warmth of the lodge, the place didn't look that exciting. She seemed about as excited as he was to be there, though he didn't comment. You never could tell with some people. He often found initiating conversation harder to do than sit in the silence. People were a closed book to him and he had a hell of a time reading them. In turn, he assumed he was the same way though he generally tended to attract people. A variety of people in fact, some one would've just preferred to have left you alone as well. But being as there were only the two of them to his knowledge, and he didn't want to look rude, he felt he should say something. Always this boring around here? He had lingered in the doorway so he couldn't even be certain she'd acknowledged his presence. He hoped he didn't startle her too much.
