Subject: She finally rose, stretching her lithe form out and casting a quick glance to make sure all was as it should have been with her children before she made her way into the kitchen, her hands tucked in the pockets of her jeans. She was like a sorry puppy coming back to it's master after she knew she'd done something wrong. "Look, I'm sorry Gabe.."

  • He pursed his lips, his frown still deep and semi fierce as he took her in fro a long moment. After a long moment, he let out a low deep breth. "I didn't suggest this to get with you, Ace, I suggested it to help take care of you and your family until you can get back on your feet, understand?" he didn't mean to be harsh but he didn't want her accepting because she thought that something this could be a happily ever after or because he wanted to be with her. He just wanted everything to work out for the best for everyone, for her, for her kids, for him and for his kids - for everyone involved. (NT) -- Gabe, Sun, Nov 28 2004, 5:12pm PST
