Subject: She glanced up to the sounds of the child as she drew another hit from it, more interested, however, in the girl holding her. Her cousin didn't seem to have changed much, but Jordan had kept her updated on his sisters news. She shifted the smoke down to her side, watching curiously, even trying a slight smile. For two that had been so close all there lives, it seemed so stupid to have stopped speaking over a guy- especially a guy neither of them was even with anymore.

  • She was focused on her daughter - that was what she did with her time now, looked after her children - they were the center of her world, especially with the end of the marriage. Her cobalt eyes were a bit more cynical than was typical, and she'd grown a fine pair of hips from motherhood. The little girl on her arm continued to jabber away, rarely making more sense than "'tookie!". "Yes hun, we're working on it." She grinned, prying the girls fingers from her hair and pressing a kiss to her forehead as she set her down on the porch and opened the door for her to toddle in.
