the mellow depths of his maple eyes surveyed the area thoughtfully. he was bare chested showing off the long lean sinews of his abdomen, twining down to narrow hips clad in "cowboy" jeans. he'd only recently returned from a sabatical in italy because it was 'harvest' season, a bit late but they'd been to work on his orchards. tire etched his rugged, handsome features and his lip was low in a bit of a pout. his gaze caught and followed kari though, more than a bit disappointed to find her smoking, it was a habit he was trying to lose and it didn't enliven him to know she smoked as well, though he already knew.
