Subject: It had been hard for him to love her and not to have her love him back. And then, these games and the hurt that came with it. No matter how much he did love her, he couldn't take that. He didn't deserve that. He kept on telling himself that he deserved someone better, but she was always the first to come to his mind

  • She had never promised him a relationship, she'd never tried to mislead him... she'd never lied to him. And more importantly She had never intentionally hurt him... except perhaps in her moment of anger... She had never begged him to takle her back and she never would. If he didn't want to be with her why would she want him to be? But she hadn't lied when she told him she loved him...and love doesn't just go away because of a fight or a hurt. It survives it all and it keeps fighting- no matter how much your common sense warns you against it.Her gaze lingers on him a moment longer, drifting down only when Raine cried for her attention, jabbering to her in her unconfirmed words that made little or no sense to anyone.
