The day was growing old and he had successfully wasted the past couple hours inside the lodge. His excuse to himself was that he was waiting out the rain before he headed out for the walk back to his apartment - he didn't own a car, hadn't needed to in the densely concentrated New York City that had been his home before here. Truth was more along the lines that his bed was presently a mattress on the floor in a disaster of a room, and the couches here were more comfortable. Not to mention there was food here - unlike his empty fridge and cupboards - so he might as well stick around and grab some dinner. Later though, because at this very moment he was stretched out on one of those aforementioned couches - softly snoring up a storm. On his back, one arm was draped over his eyes, his knees were bent and twisted slightly sideways to rest against the back of the couch. Nearby, his messenger bag rested on the ground - the contents precious, but his laid-back, seemingly almost careless nature didn't allow him to be concerned about it...
