Subject: "No... I couldn't eat your food..." He declined despite his reluctance to do so - so tempted just to accept her offer. Gaze lingering for a moment longer, he ducked his head a little sheepishly and looked back to the fridge - rummaging through the contents but coming up with only a bottle of water and an apple. He wasn't much of a cook - mostly ate out when he lived in the city, but there wasn't so much around here and he would have had to take a bus or taxi to any sort of place to have his meal made for him.
