She spoils him rotten." He brushed his lips softly over hers in turn, and then kissed her temple sweetly. "It was pretty good... Pretty laid back - why I could leave early." Work had gotten so much more bearable since his promotion - it was much less exhausting, and the pay was better, and it just made him feel a little better about life in general. He set his coffee down on the table so that he could slouch down a little more, absently brushing back her hair - he loved the short look. He hadn't thought that he would, but he did...
