im sorry about the park too but i just read that the church is going ahead with plans to clean up the ballroom mess and start building their church complex within a year. so i think we all know whats going to happen to the 2 remaining coasters...as good as demolished. the people at the conneaut amusement park said they arent interested in the jack rabbit because of money problems. plus even if the park opened it probably couldnt survive in this day and age.
too many big parks around and it wouldnt make enough money to warrant opening. its sad but as my husband said some things are better put to rest. at least we all have wonderful memories. some of mine are still vivid; even the smells and sounds.
