Date Posted: 14:13:44 10/17/03 Fri In reply to: HG3.5 's message, "Re: what players from Illinois will be in NBA?" on 11:05:51 10/16/03 Thu PoopScoop is the worst ratings service around, and Prepstars is based out of the west coast and is slanted toward the west (i know cause i subscribe there). I wont argue who is better between Bailey and Pruitt, cause id take either in a second, but look for Pruitt to have a tremendous year (his first without injury) and end up 2nd in Mr. Basketball. As far as Cook goes, he was the best player in Illinois HS in a down year. Far from a top 25 player. Don't forget that his first 3 years at UI were at times forgetful, and at other times frustrating because you knew how good Cook could be. The comparisons there between Cook and Pruitt are valid. Pruitt will take time to develop, but if he gets another inch or two and another 20-30 pounds of muscle, he could very well be drafted at the end of a four year collegiate career.
