Coach Leitao and Coach Collins have talked about playing and they both agreed they would play down the line. DePaul now plays a few of the local teams. Loyola, NW, Bradley. In time DePaul will play UIC and even Illinois.

With the type of talent Leitao is bringing into DePaul, I don't think he is afraid to play UIC. Sammy Mejia, Tyler Smith, Wesley Green were all top 100 players and for 2004 Dorell Wright is a top twenty type player and a future superstar.

The Kennedy era is over at DePaul. Leitao is still cleaning up the mess but they are not far away. Moving to the Big East will be great for the program and great for Chicago.
