Clearly this site has an obvious personal bias w/extreme predujice in behlaf of J.Ellis. The article posted today was totally sugar coated making it seem like such a great decision for Ellis to blow off the summer. Accoring to the article - he's still "the greatest" - hasn't lost a beat. But that's NOT what I saw!

Admitedly I didn't see a lot of Ellis at Jam - but what I did see he looked tired, rusty, out of shape - certainly not "leading his team". Did they win it all? How well did he shoot? How about some "neutral" opinions - not CPL diehards.

Also about JE going head 2 head w/Vierneisel - was that before or after EV severely sprained his ankle??? I'd love to see JE go up against DeAaron or Price or even Cerasoli - all more evenly matched in size and quickness that EV who is more of a 3/4 not a 2/3 like Ellis. I bet he wouldn't fair nearly as well...

JE has been dropped from every top 100 list in America! If he were that "great" surely some sites would list him in spite of a no-show summer. JE is a good/talented player - but I'm strongly against rating him above all the other top players who busted their butts all summer (Cerasoli, Williams, Pruitt, Bailey, etc.). Summer is an "entire season". Until he consistently shows where he belongs this winter - he should be no higher than the bottom of the top 10.
