Whether or not Jamarcus Ellis plays during the summer is totally up to Jamarcus Ellis. His high school coach, Quitman Dillard, was quoted in the Chicago Sun Times as saying Jamarcus spent part of his summer in summer school working on his grades. Every prospect doesn't necessarily want to spend the summer playing basketball. Pekin's Matt Hagen opted not to play on the AAU circuit. It is Jamarcus' decision whether or not he wishes to play during the summer.
