Just so you know, DeAndre Thomas dominated at Loyola including the bigs from Peoria and Julian Wright.granted he needs to loose weight and improve conditiong but even now thats the only thing that stops him not opposing players and when he is a senior to be he will be highly sought after as well.Bigs are always sought after because there just isn't that many.Guards are plentiful Bigs are not.To say that many schools backed of Pruitt because of his injury is insulting because you don't know that.Maybe it is his attitude or apptitude that they didn't want to take a chance on.Most coaches think they can refine a big to make a dominate player, even Kenny George who has a long way to go before he is close to a force has alot of interest because he is 7 foot plus.Ranings and ratings are subjective opinions based on preferences of those making the and sometimes they are just clones of what others have said. Many of the big events you mentioned didn't have very flattering reports for Pruitt but that didn't stop Illinois for wanting him because they made up their minds based on what they thought, what they needed and what they thought they can do with him.Hopefuly it works out for him and if it doesn't he will have the opportunity for a good education. At this point those of us who have watched him for years and don't think he lives up to the hype are entitled to that opinion.I frankly don't think most of the highly hyped high school players are as good as the hype and some do.
