We call that "Heart" when a player chooses a program where he know's he'll have to work his ass off and fight to get PT - climbing over the backs of who ever is in his way. MSU would have been the easy chose w/less bigs to compete against for PT. But of course "haters" don't see it that way.

SP welcomes (and will help recruit) more competition like Wright, Hansborough, etc. because he knows good programs must have lots of good players and he's not afraid of the comp - that's why he chose to represent his state school (in spite of themm having a lof of bigs already). SP wants to help get IL to the level that an MSU has been already. Bring on all who can hang - the B10 is no joke (unlike some of you haters) and SP will be ready to bang - believe it.

>You seem quick to hand out criticism of every player,
>but can't seem to handle any criticism of your guy.

People who appreciate SP's game don't have as much of a problem w/other "good to great" players as we HAVE acknowledged them to be good. We DO have a problem w/you "haters" who try to say things like "Deandre Thomas" is better. Lets see if DT gets a "ride" to the B10!

Don't be so quick to call someone fanatical - because it seems to me like the shoe fits you.

Opinions are at a stand off on this subject - let's see what's up in March!
