Can you imagine what OPRF might be like w/the best big man in the state on their squad???

That's right Shaun Pruitt grew up in oak park and went to school there through 8th grade at Julian Jr. just blocks from OPRF & Fenwick.

OPRF has had solid talent over the years but will never do anything or go anywhere because of their coach and poor program that really don't care about winning. OP is one of the largest schools in IL and every year many of their best athletes don't even go out for the team because of the coach. What players has he developed - none!

That's why SP never considered going there - went down the street to St. Mel frosh year instead, then moved to Aurora. The real blockbuster is guess who else lived in OP since jr. high - Justin C!!! Can you imagine Shaun P & Justin C at OPRF??? But they both would have been totally frustrated w/the coach and lack of a serious bb program. Moving to Aurora to join a real bb program and a great coach that's serious about winning and developing players was the best move for two of ILL's best players.
