Subject: He had no patience to listen to her 'I'm-always-right' lecturing - he was bitter that she always blamed everything on him, and still a little sore about the fact that they had once been good friends, yet she still hadn't forgiven him despite the fact that everyone else had. He sighed and raised his eyes slowly, pausing to sip at his drink again. "She's the one that owes me an apology. You should be having this conversation with her."

  • She nodded. "I have, she's as damn stubborn as you are." She moved into the office, sitting down on the corner of his desk. Her fingers traced over the intials and heart for a second before she spoke, her voice soft. "I know we don't get along to much these days Luc." She brought her gaze to him for a moment. "I've just...been protective of her you know? After what that asshole Bryan did, I was just..bitter that it had to happen to her again." Her tone was condicending, or even angry or accusing, just factual. "She's my girl you know? You would hate someone forever if they did one of your friends like that."
