Her fingers traced over the intials and heart for a second before she spoke, her voice soft. "I know we don't get along to much these days Luc." She brought her gaze to him for a moment. "I've just...been protective of her you know? After what that asshole Bryan did, I was just..bitter that it had to happen to her again." Her tone was condicending, or even angry or accusing, just factual. "She's my girl you know? You would hate someone forever if they did one of your friends like that."
