Yay, that looked a little more like the normal Owen. Although Owen didn't know it, the girl who had invaded his 'lip-space' had been named 'Candy'. What a coincidence... I'm sure if he had known that, the words that would have slipped from his lips would have been; 'I hate candy, and will now eat salt for the rest of my life...' Owen's arms wrapped casually 'round her as their lips met, soft flesh 'gainst soft flesh in a delicate display of affection. When the touch was broken, Owen bowed his head a bit, glancing to his sneakers, and her sandels... God, he loved the girl whose feet were in those sandels... And here it was coming, the time he got this huge weight off of his chest...It seemed to be in slow motion, as his lips moved -- his deep voice flowing from them, "I swear I didn't kiss her back... I thought she was your friend... I was waiting for you, I didn't know, I was jus' being polite by jus' talking to her when she started talking to me... I didn't want that to happen... I didn't, know that would happen... And I'm so sorry." I'm sorry: he'd say it once, and say it a million times after that for the rest of his earth-bound life -- if she wanted him too...
