as those intellectually plagued blue eyes take in his rumpled appearance her brow rises a bit. though muscular shoulders shrug as she turns to continue in her play of the water, her beer still filled to the lip -- what did she care? at his greeting she nods a bit, and then at those words she looks to him in alarm. her slightly damp hands had sort of fallen into the puddle and sent slight droplets of water cascading over everyone in close proximity. her head bows a bit as she tries to figure out just what his meaning was -- uhh, he picked her? what the hell was that supposed to mean? did he pick her opposed to.. she didn't know. she moistened her lips a bit before it sort of dawned on her. her lips round into an 'o' and those piercing blues turn to his features.

"you pick me? are you sure? do you know how flawed i am? do you know i look like an elephant? do you know that i'm nothing like her? do you know that i'm friggin doomed? 'cause you can't know for sure that you pick me unless you know all the cons of this situation.."

yes, the cons.. they ultimately sucked -- she'd vouch for that.
