.yeah... the crowd had been rude, and that's why sam had shoved through them, instead of weaved. after having made his way through the throng of dense people, sam had landed at gaia's side with a twisted jacket and gaping hazel eyes. catching his breath, he pulled the jacket off and threw it onto the bar stool next to gaia.

"Hey..."

he murmured oh-so-brilliantly. watching her with a silent intensity, he took in all of her perfectly crafted features. alright... so now that he was here, what was he to say? i mean, he couldn't just look at her in silence forever, could he? well... sam was just kinda devoid of words for the time being... he just, didn't know what to say. so, without words, came the need to explain alot. samslid onto one of the stools, and placed both his hands palm down upon the counter. still watching her, he murmured,

"i pick you..."

without any furthur explanation, he left the words for gaia to figure out. aside from being drop-dead-gorgeous, the girl was also brilliant, sam knew that.
