Subject: He was a heavy drinker and he couldn't help it. He'd switched his mind from the unknown drink that was making everything a little hard to the shots of tequila...his fingers curled around the first shot glass...throwing his head back at the same time the small shot was dumped into his mouth. Shaking his head and setting the glass back down...the 'tender just kept them coming on command.

  • After a few phone calls to cancel plans to friends that she was supposed to be going out with later, she emerged some time later - black messenger bag slung over one shoulder and a tailored black leather jacket hanging off one arm. "Get it a rest. C'mon, you can crash on my couch for tonight - one night, on the couch." Her tone was far from friendly, but the words supported her kind-heart. She knew him well enough to know that he was tanked, and it wasn't her nature to leave someone - whether he be a strongly disliked ex-boyfriend or not - to risk driving home drunk or anything along those lines.
