Subject: She let out a soft breath, her brow furrowed a little as she just shrugged her shoulders. Obviously, her dad wasn't going to talk to her anymore than her mom was. "Alright..." She murmured, reaching up to press a kiss to his cheek. "I am going to go out for a bit, maybe we'll actually do that dinner thing later this week." She stated softly before she turned, heading out the door of his office and mingling into the bustling crowd on the dancefloor. She hated thinking that all was not right with her family but there wasn't much she could do about it at this point, all she could do was hope that her parents would work things out.

  • "Love you, sweetie." He murmured as he kissed her cheek in turn and then watched as she left him there alone in his office. With a quiet growl he pushed his door shut - didn't exactly slam it, but closed it more forcefully than necessary - and then threw himself into the plush leather chair behind his desk. He was just so frustrated with everything. Life should be great right now - Austin was finally looking a little healthier, he and Mia were doing well, Eliza was good except for this whole thing with him and Jas, the clubs were prospering - but he was just in such a difficult place and he didn't understand it or understand his options. Closing his eyes lightly, he slouched down into the chair and linked his hands together, then rested them over his forehead. (NT) -- Lucas, 10:20:46 08/31/06 Thu
