Subject: "I still love your mom..." He confirmed without hesitation, but then trailed off. He honestly still could not remember the last time that he had really kissed his wife - and that was more troubling then anything else. He would never admit that to anyone - least of all to his daughter or wife, of course - and he was ashamed of it, but it was the truth. Running his hands slowly down his face, he then stood up a little straighter and tucked his hands into the pockets of his black slacks. "Eliza, everything will be fine. Don't worry about it any more." He knew that she would worry still no matter what he said though, and wouldn't believe that everything would be fine until it actually was - she was just like that.
In reply to: Eliza 's message, "
So walk a little straighter, Daddy
You're leading me

  • She let out a soft breath, her brow furrowed a little as she just shrugged her shoulders. Obviously, her dad wasn't going to talk to her anymore than her mom was. "Alright..." She murmured, reaching up to press a kiss to his cheek. "I am going to go out for a bit, maybe we'll actually do that dinner thing later this week." She stated softly before she turned, heading out the door of his office and mingling into the bustling crowd on the dancefloor. She hated thinking that all was not right with her family but there wasn't much she could do about it at this point, all she could do was hope that her parents would work things out.
