Finally, he gets up the nerve to push the girl off of him and stalks off moments after her - slamming the door much too loudly behind him and running his hand along one of the counters on his way to his office - pushing empty bottles to shatter on the floor.

His violence brought back more memories...she'd gotten bottles thrown at her before...but with Brian - instead of his fists hitting walls - they were hitting her.
