He catches her gaze, smirks a little, then drops his mischievious eyes to the girl at his side for a moment - eyes rarely focused above her neck - and returns to the lively conversation in the group.

  • She was trying her best to hold back - to stay away from him and avoid a conflict. There would be a conflict if she spoke to him - she didn't deal well with her friends getting hurt, or used - and thats exactly how he seemed to be playing Jasmine.
