Subject: I was the one who saw you first, a grain in the sands of the universe...

It felt weird to be back - like he had no real reason to be there - but had had to come to see his new nephew. Kato was tied up with Cassie and the kids, and he wasn't sure if Malika was interested in seeing him or even still around. The last couple months at school had been good to him - mentally and physically - though rarely a day passed where she didn't cross his mind, and the more he thought about her the more he missed her. He sat on one of the benches at the playground watching Kesi and her dog play, lost in thought...

She was walking silently down the trail by herself just getting some fresh air. She was tired of being stuck inside, and after the fling with Kato she had felt so guilty. She was obviously still in love with Diallo and even when she went out at night to the clubs - it was usually a single action. She smiled at Kesi assuming she was with Kato."Hey beautiful." She didn't even look to acknowledge Kato, just knelt down to greet the baby. Her eyes sparked at that, she'd always been fesity, and easily set off. "It's not what I want but it's the right thing to do Diallo. If you weren't so freakin' thick headed you would see that."
