She hadn't felt so humilated in years. Her night in a cell had woken her up to a few things, things she'd concentrated on not seeing before. Nicks envolvement with drugs for one, his lack of feelings for her for another. She watched the springer spaniel absently as she wandered along the path, scuffing her Puma Sprints as she went, baby blue joggers low on her hips, wrapped up warm in a fleese hoodie and Animal coat, fur edging the hood and neck. Lucas' mood had made her feel even lower last night, on top of being hurt and scared. They had insisted on keeping her in over night, and she'd gotten back home this morning, still feeling hurt and cheated.
