Subject: Har-Bal looping hitting play button also seperately using Sonar 2.1

I used Sonar with a spectrum analyzer to get an EQ point, stopped play in Sonar, made an adjustment to the filter in Har-Bal, hit the Har-Bal play button and Har-Bal looped at 99% in Windows Task manager.

I was actually able to save work and stop Sonar, as well as save work and stop Har-Bal. It just took a really long time due to the loop.

Also someone, I suspect Har-Bal, was causing the sound card to output a high pitched sound every minute or 2, duration about 4 seconds. Watch out using headphones !

The other thing going on was the spectrum analyzer in Sonar (Ozone) showed a symptom that (I think) is related to P4 normalization or an Ozone bug. In other words one of the lower (about 300 Hz) 1/3 octave bands jumped up to about +50 dbfs but there was not a constant sound of any type. I have seen that before and just take it to mean that Ozone has a really huge bogus number it 'found' for that band somehow. Usually I can turn off the Sonar audio engine (a button) to get this to go away.

The new thing is the high frequency pitch every minute or 2 - that's why I'm thinking Har-Bal might be involved in that, plus it's looping.

Anyway, I'll try Cool Edit Pro and some other things and let you know if if happens again and if anything points to Har-Bal. More info in other words...
