Keefer had just sort of fallen into silence when Doe's eyelids had slid down and over her eyes like heavy shutters and her breathing became soft, and well... She started looking like a person who was asleep, go figure -- huh? For the most part, his eyes had been the road -- but when the lights turned red and he found himself letting the car idle -- and waiting for the change in light, his eyes were drawn to Doe's small, sleeping form. For some reason, something about her just interested him, he liked having her around and didn't get bored with her, she just wasn't a bland person... It might sound corny, but something about her was special, but he needed more time to figure out just what. After having pulled into Bed, Bath & Beyond, and found a suitable parking spot, he had looked over to Doe yet again -- and found her wide-eyed and awake. Pulling his own 6'2 form from the mustang's driver seat he looked back towards her -- a grin touching his features. "Hey sleepy head..." He said, as she pecked his cheek. "It's nice having someone who's alive around again... I was left alone with the silence for that whole 25 minute drive. And might I add that silence is not a fun partner in crime." Nudging her playfully with his elbow he shook his head -- merely teasing her, "How could you do that to me? ME?" A few chuckles followed his exagerrated display of shock,
while he started towards the store, giving her a look that urged her along with him.
