Probably not an entirely bad thing... I mean, knowing the 'locals' or being known by the 'locals' meant that you were either told every bit of gossip there was to know, or you were part of the gossip; a topic. Liam glanced slowly up at her after having crumpled the soiled napkin in his hand. With a bit of an easy smile, he nodded in agreeance to her request. All the while, his stomach seemed to be mimicking the actions of a fish out of water. Friends was a good label for them, wasn't it? I mean, sure... Liam would never get over having done something so stupid to Tex, but... Hey, they could still be friends, right? RIGHT. It was humanely possible, Liam decided. With a broader smile, he nudging he gently with his elbow before speaking in his usual shy fashion, "I can get you good seats... Like front row, 'cause I'm on the team and all that other stuff. Sound good?" That was Liam; always giving, -- no matter how much of a jerk he believed he truly was. In a hushed tone, he added a few words to his latter remark, a smirk spread evenly 'cross his mouth, "That way, you can see the sweaty jocks better... And they'll be able to see you to, much to David, my team-mate's, enjoyment."
