Subject: he could hear her cry from where he was sitting, but he couldn't go in there..not to comfort her..it wasn't even his child..Yeah, he knew he was being a selfish bastard, but thats what he'd always been..but hey, Cory wasn't even here..he wanted nothing to do with the kid..at least he was making some kind of effort..if thats what you could call thsi..
