How much more of this pain could she take? The knowledge that it was he who had put her in this condition didn't help him any......he'd never anted to hurt her.+ The doctor glanced up at Hallie. "I believe I see the baby's head. Its almost over, I want you to keep pushing, give it everything you've got with the next contraction. Lets get this kid out." He smiled at her, his voice cheerful.

  • Leaning back for a moments rest she attepts to catch her breath.His cheerful voice annoyed her, and she glared at the doctor. As the next and hopefully last she gave it all she had left. Suddenly relief floods over her, falling back feeling totally drained. The relief didn't last for long, she had been expecting to hear the cies of a healthy baby, instead she heard none. Sitting up on her elbows she sees the doctor and more nurses rush out with her baby, without even indicating the gender. She begins to freak out. "O something's wrong, where are they going, O...?"
