Subject: Post-Gazette's mug shot page

Usually don't read the PG, but yesterday I got a copy and turned to the sports section. There were five bylined articles on the first page of sports and all five had their mug shots with their stories: Ed Bouchette (Steeler story), Stephen Nesbitt (Pirate game story), Jenn Menendez (Pitt story), Megan Ryan (Penn State story), Ron Cook (column). Why does everybody who writes a story in sports get their head shot in the paper? It looks ridiculous. I didn't see this in other sections of paper.
