Subject: Yes, she was nice, but weak editorially

She was on PCNC a couple times, and she seemed very nice, and good natured. She was nowhere near as obnoxious as the self-important McNickle, whose greatest moment came when Teresa Heinz Kerry told him off. Colin is one of the self-important types who's given the Trib a bad name. I have to disagree on the editorial end. It was clear Salena was weak journalistically and she had trouble keeping her conservative biases out of her work. I will say she was superior to Jennifer Graham, the oddball PG editorial columnist who embarrassed herself in a few months and left after disrespecting Pennsylvania deer hunters. Zito was never that dumb.

There is enough right wing media online and in print, good and bad that Salena will have no trouble finding work. And Uncle Dick's buds at the Heritage Foundation always appreciate a fellow ideologue.
