The PG has been going to hell for years. If and when the Trib does "go out," taking UpGruv with them, the PG will will be a monopoly, which it has never been. At that point look for it to become an even bigger piece of junk. Of course it might still look good placed alongside The Incline. I think the PG and Blade are Block family indulgences designed to make John R feel important. It convinces him he's actually doing worthwhile work helping "save American journalism."

If he reads this forum, he probably can't understand all the hostile criticism of him, Shribman and the PG. How could he?
