I'm pessimistic... maybe i'm realistic. If blizzard would of made a better game, and especially given us the realm support for guilds (They are doing it for the WCIII xpac) well then... ya know.
Gaming itself has greatly changed in alll this time. I used to use godforsaken DIAL UP and AOL as my ISP ... i got what was an unheard of 500-900 ping and it wasn't that bad... (When it was down toward 500)... I remember it was cool when i was connected at 24 kps cause i would get 2 or maybe 1 bar of lag. haha, isn't that great.
The demands of the new games are really demanding on players and systems for the matter so most of us who are now in our early twenties or very late teeens are dirt poor, most people on b-net are kids ... like we were but i mean more so than before. How old was i... i guess i was 15 when i joined and i'm about to turn 21 here... I learned alot and i miss it alot. I was just thinking about lisk this evening and how i wish i had gotten my warrior to 50. I figured i could if i played with him as he leveled his characters we'd get it round about the same time. But my sister and I fought for the computer and we had shared a a single cpu at the time, so we were required to switch every hour and alternate 1 hour at a time for comp usage. So while lisk played for a long time i came and played for an hour and an hour or so later he'd probably be offline.
I played a little while back with UltiSephiroth from PofL (Which I am in) we had a little retro-diablo 1 time for a while and it was good fun. But alas there just werent that many to play with at any given time so... I trudge back to diablo 2... which i am not enjoying again.... but i eagerly await their new patch which willl give me probably a month or two of enjoyment again.
So anyways i was saying... i think i check this mb too because i hope old people will come back and post again... i hope... I do see KD everyonce in a while and I have Dianjello and hellraiser on my IM lists... i use the dreaded AOL IM now adays...
so anyways i again post my e-mail and IM name so my contacts are there... for... hey man i guess i just say mean things and act pessimistic when i'm really just optimistic that someone will atke my info and message me and tell me great things like "I want to start it up and here's what i'm doing" ....
I'll belive it when i see it but I want it all the same. (ironic eh?)
