Of course, there are times and circumstances when you simply are unable to assist your ally, this is to be understood by both people and no grudges should be borne of this.

What the rule is saying basicaly: Be helpful, but constant help is not expected (Remember we are here to enjoy each-others company not abuse it, isn't that a rule for Diablo I about giving items and stuff?)
